Frequently Asked Questions
Find clear answers about our diamonds, jewelry, orders, certification, shipping, and returns.
Yes. If the diamond or jewellery piece is available in our UAE collection, we
would be happy to arrange a private viewing by appointment.
We also have access to an extensive international selection of diamonds.
Some diamonds or jewellery may be held with our partner offices or
suppliers in the UK, Belgium, India and Hong-Kong and can be brought to
the UAE once you decide to proceed with your purchase.
Yes. IMSRA Diamond offers both natural diamonds and lab-grown
diamonds.
Our specialists can explain the differences between the two options,
including their characteristics, certification, appearance and pricing, helping
you select the option that best suits your budget and preferences.
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds have essentially the same crystal structure and
chemical composition as natural diamonds. The key difference is their
origin: natural diamonds form naturally within the Earth, while lab-grown
diamonds are created using advanced technology in a controlled
environment.
Both can be graded by recognised independent gemmological laboratories.
The principal difference is origin.
Natural diamonds are formed naturally over extremely long periods beneath
the Earth's surface. Lab-grown diamonds are produced using advanced
technological processes that recreate the conditions required for diamond
formation.
Both can offer exceptional beauty and quality. The choice ultimately
depends on your personal preference, values and budget.
Yes. Where applicable, our certified diamonds are accompanied by grading
reports from internationally recognised independent laboratories such as
GIA, IGI and HRD.
The specific laboratory and certification will depend on the individual
diamond.
The 4Cs — Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat — are the internationally
recognised characteristics used to describe and evaluate diamonds.
• Cut: Determines how effectively the diamond interacts with light.
• Colour: Measures the degree of colour present in a diamond.
• Clarity: Refers to naturally occurring internal characteristics and
surface features.
• Carat: Refers to the diamond's weight.
Our team can explain each of these factors and help you understand how
they influence a diamond's appearance and price.
There is no single combination of the 4Cs that is right for everyone.
We first understand your budget, preferred diamond shape and desired look,
then help you prioritise the characteristics that matter most to you. Our
goal is to find a diamond that offers the right balance of beauty, quality
and value.
The ideal diamond shape is a matter of personal style.
Popular choices include Round, Oval, Emerald, Cushion, Pear, Princess,
Radiant, Marquise and Heart shapes. Some shapes appear larger for their
carat weight, while others offer a more classic or distinctive appearance.
If you are unsure, our team can help you compare different shapes and
settings.

A bespoke engagement ring generally takes around 2–3 weeks from the time
the final design is approved.
More detailed or highly intricate designs may require additional time. If you
have a proposal, wedding or special occasion coming up, let us know at the
beginning and we will advise you on the most suitable timeline.
Absolutely.
If you have created your own design or have a particular concept in mind,
our team can work with you to transform your idea into a finished piece of
jewellery.
You can provide us with a sketch, photograph, digital image or simply
explain what you have in mind.
We understand that choosing an engagement ring can sometimes involve
unexpected circumstances.
If the ring size is incorrect, your partner prefers a different design, or
circumstances change after the proposal, IMSRA Diamond offers the
flexibility to exchange the engagement ring for another jewellery piece of
equivalent value, subject to our applicable terms.
Where applicable, we can also assist with resizing the ring free of charge.

Our lifetime warranty covers eligible manufacturing and workmanship
defects, but it does not cover circumstances such as loss, theft, accidental
damage or normal wear and tear.
For comprehensive protection, we recommend speaking with a specialist
jewellery insurance provider about suitable coverage.
Don't worry — this is a common concern, particularly when the ring is
intended as a surprise.
Our team can help you explore discreet ways of determining the correct size.
We can also provide a complimentary ring sizer where applicable.
The first resize of a ring purchased from IMSRA Diamond is free of

accommodate your requested timeline.

recognised Assay Office.

authenticity of your jewellery.
IMSRA Diamond is committed to responsible diamond sourcing.
We work with legitimate suppliers and support the principles of the
Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, an international framework
established to help prevent conflict diamonds from entering the legitimate
diamond supply chain.
We expect our suppliers to provide appropriate assurances regarding the
origin and responsible sourcing of the diamonds they supply and to comply
with applicable industry standards and relevant international requirements.
Although diamonds are exceptionally durable, jewellery should still be
handled with care.
We recommend removing jewellery when carrying out activities that could
expose it to harsh chemicals, excessive impact or unnecessary abrasion.
Regular professional inspection and cleaning can also help maintain its
